What You Get to Do:

  • Work with development teams to build and maintain cloud environments, support and automate the deployment of applications into those environments.
  • Continuously improve Conviva SaaS services and infrastructure for availability, performance, and security
  • Build monitoring and alerting tools, also metrics visualization
  • Containerization with Kubernetes
  • Provide standards, documentation, and coaching to developers
  • Automate everything
  • Participate in on-call rotations

What You Bring to the Role:

Must have:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps including automated system configuration, application deployment, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Good Linux system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning abilities.
  • Good understanding of Git, HTTP/S, Loadbalancer and DNS, basic understanding of networking.
  • Experience in any one of the languages: Shell, Python or Go.
  • Real-world experience in AWS (Amazon Web Services) or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or Ali Cloud environments, Multi-account management is a plus.
  • Experience in containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Experience in any configuration management tools like Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet or Chef is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Monitoring, like Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana.
  • Good understanding CI/CD pipelines using GitHub. CircleCI/Jenkins/Gitlab CI and JFrog Artifactory/Nexus is a plus.
  • Reading and Writing in English, Good listening and speaking is a plus

Big Plus:

  • Logging with ElasticSearch, Kibana, filebeat.
  • Knowledge of BigData (Hadoop/Spark/Zookeeper/Kafka/Druid) systems administration.
  • Knowledge of managing and running DBs (MySQL/Postgres/Redis).
  • Good understanding of network, application and data security.
