What You Bring to the Role:

Knowledge on one of the cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Scala, GO Lang, Kafka, Rest Services .
Experience in Hadoop, distributed storage systems.

Must have hands-on experience in Confluent/Apache Kafka environment (Kafka Cluster, Apache Zookeeper. Transform data into topics, streaming processors in Kafka).

Experience with Spark Streaming API's.

Proficient skills with tools used in software development lifecycle, such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, JIRA, GitHub, Gradle, Kubernetes & Docker etc.
Experience with Devops, Cloud Infrastructure.
Solid understanding of and experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySql, BigQuery, HBase.
Able to perform core development activities along with rest of the team

Relevant Experiences:

5+ years of experience in end-to-end design & development lifecycle in a complex distributed environment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent professional experience).

Soft Skills:

Proven problem-solving ability and the ability to work individually as well as within a team environment.
Excellent problem analysis skills. Use considerable technical expertise and judgement to develop options and recommend solutions.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration to deliver business value.
Pays attention to the detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality solutions.
Understanding of current state landscape and relevant technologies.
