Vercel, Turborepo: Make Ship Happen.

The Opportunity:

Vercel, generally, is growing fast and the Turborepo team is no exception. The role is dynamic - you should be comfortable designing systems, writing code, and debugging systems in production and in open source. As part of the Turborepo team, you will focus on creating the ultimate developer experience (for large codebases) by improving the Turborepo build system and Vercel’s monorepo experience.

About you:

• You are intrigued by the challenges faced by building and orchestrating other engineer's code.
• You have ideas about how to architect scalable codebases
• You are keen to experiment, challenge norms and deliver secure, reliable and performant systems that delight Turborepo users
• You are knowledgeable about file systems, graph data structures, and software build systems.
• You are a confident Node.js, Golang, or Rust developer (or keen to become one) with experience of building reliable toolchains and CLIs.
• You do not need to be a Next.js or React expert. But it's a bonus if you are!
