About this job

Data Scientist role requires extensive analytical, data product and business skills applied through the execution of data including, development, and creation of data content for use in data products and solutions.  The Data Scientist is responsible for data analysis, modeling, reporting, and technology implementations using industry leading principles, methodologies, and programs.  These analytic activities are typically product or solution based designed for use by many clients or the focus of a single client who requires custom research and data development to solve a specific business problem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with BI, software developers, data analysts, and product managers to complete project and move into a delivery environment

• Prepares and presents results to external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Computer Science) or related degree programs and/or 8 years of relevant work experience

• Expert knowledge of data quality, database concepts, analysis, and rule/code development

• Makes business recommendation to product management and engineering necessary for product success

• Experience with key business processes and the needs of stakeholders; capable of leading complex projects
