The Coach Operations team’s mission is to build a world class coaching network that represents our members and drives transformational experiences across our offerings. As a Business Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the sourcing and onboarding of the coach network, evolving and redesigning the system to support the company’s overall growth. 

You will excel in this role if you enjoy being deeply embedded in the business, have a bias towards action, and drive initiatives that positively impact our partners and coaches and result in greater member outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a coach advocate: Regularly engage with the coach community to support their onboarding and serve as their advocate to create an optimal coach experience.
  • Deliver best in class operations: Manage and optimize systems and workflows that power the end-to-end coach experience and drive value across the entire BetterUp ecosystem.
  • Scale and innovate solutions: Identify and implement improvements through process/systems/reporting solutions to not only drive toward operational efficiencies, but to unlock company strategic objectives.
  • Make data driven decisions: Use data to proactively identify and address issues or bottlenecks in system workflows and processes. Establish and improve performance metrics related to systems and vendor implementation.
  • Collaborate across the company: Work cross-functionally with coach enablement, customer care, and product/engineering to create delightful and streamlined coach experiences and operational workflows.

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in operations, project management, program management
  • Strong general management skills and entrepreneurial mindset with an uncanny bias towards action
  • Strong execution skills, ability to consistently meet timelines, exceed expectations and operate from a sense of urgency, even through ambiguity or changing business needs.
  • Experience owning a process or system; ability to master an existing process and think critically about ways to make it even better.
  • Strong analytical abilities and ability to drive operational improvements through data oriented decision making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – can collaborate with and communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leadership audiences
  • Proven ability to quickly climb new learning curves, communicate issues and formulate potential solutions.
  • A sincere, collaborative, and empathetic personality characterized by a strong inclination to be part of a team of doers
