The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for the hands-on, end-to-end administration of BetterUp’s sales compensation and incentive programs.  Reporting into the Director of Revenue Operations, this role is a critical member of the Finance team, but will collaborate closely with the Go-to-Market, HR, and Recruiting teams. 

BetterUp is a fast growing start up – to be successful in this role, you must be a “roll-up your sleeves” type of professional! You are someone that is as eager to take ownership - getting deep into the current plans and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building innovative solutions to help the company scale from zero to one hundred!

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with GTM, Finance, and HR leadership to design, document, and communicate  sales compensation and incentive programs
  • Calculate monthly and quarterly sales commissions and incentives for all eligible employees globally
  • Support employee education and awareness of sales compensation plans - provide live presentation for new and existing employees to fully understand plan provisions
  • Implement and maintain scalable sales compensation tooling to automate the administration and calculation of core sales compensation and incentive programs
  • Maintain supporting documentation for internal and external auditors - including signed compensation agreements, field performance inputs, and sales compensation and incentive calculations
  • Analyze historical sales compensation and incentive data to identify opportunities to increase ROI of BetterUp’s sales compensation and incentive programs

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in administration of global sales compensation and incentive plans; 3+ years working at high-growth, enterprise SaaS organizations
  • Strong working knowledge of sales compensation and incentive programs
  • Hands-on experience building out and maintaining sales compensation plans in scalable commission software tools (CaptivateIQ preferred)
  • Excellent analytical (Excel, Google Sheets), CRM (Salesforce) and project management skills
  • An effective and empathetic communicator with a variety of levels of internal employees, business partners, external vendors, etc.
