We are looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Global Operations team. The operations team touches almost every part of BizTech, from monitoring our cloud compute and network infrastructure to supporting SaaS applications. 

Qualifications

  • An experienced individual contributor in an operations engineering role
  • You thrive on troubleshooting and problem solving activities
  • You Know one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Ruby, Go
  • You have working experience with:
    • Observability tools (e.g. LogicMonitor, SumoLogic)
    • Network (e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto)
    • Configuration management tools (e.g. Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
    • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
    • CI and Automation tools (e.g. Jenkins)
    • Cloud Providers (e.g. AWS, GCP)
    • Jira and Confluence
    • Data engineering
    • Identity (e.g. LDAP)
    • Supporting SaaS tools (e.g. Salesforce, Mulesoft, Workday, Onelogin)
  • You have a desire to continually learn about the new technologies that are deployed
  • You have familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Processes

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the ticket queue, to ensure all request and issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with various global stakeholder teams to monitor, log, troubleshoot, repair and document to ensure the stability of our services and business operations 
  • Develop, improve and drive processes for monitoring the health and availability of services, identify gaps to improve operational efficiency

The starting base pay for this role is between $118,000 and $163,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
