Doma is looking for qualified applicants to be the Director of Go-To-Market for an incredibly strategic, stealth new product offering we’re building to help massively reduce the friction involved in closing residential real estate purchase transactions. The right candidate for the job is a motivated, entrepreneurial, and customer-obsessed “people-person” who can work alongside other senior business partners in order to lead Doma’s expansion into yet another inefficient area of the home buying and selling process. Building and launching this new product is one of Doma’s key strategic initiatives for 2022 and beyond, and this role will have substantial support from the highest levels within the organization.  Further details of the product can be shared with interested candidates after an initial screening process occurs.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading our go-to-market strategy and execution across various regions
  • Responsible for new customer acquisition pertaining to this project’s product offering, including all sales and marketing activities to initial clients
  • Coordinating with the Business Manager and his team in order to develop and communicate the most compelling customer offering possible
  • Forging relationships and setting performance objectives with Doma Local staff
  • Developing a network of realtor relationships beyond Doma’s existing franchise

What skills and experience do you need? 

  • BBA/MBA with 7+ years of subsequent experience in a client-facing sales or marketing role, preferably within the mortgage, consumer credit, or real estate industries
  • High level of intrinsic motivation with a willingness to persevere and overcome business challenges as they arise
  • Comfort presenting to groups in formal and informal settings
  • Ability to drive decisions and think like an owner of the business
  • Capacity to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills and sound judgement
  • Willingness to travel several days per month, as needed

Spanish language skills are a plus
