As the company continues to expand rapidly, your work will play an important role in further developing our brand point of view and forging stronger relationships with our community. GREATEST is a bi-annual print magazine published by GOAT Group showcasing the stories of up-and-coming artists as well as industry veterans who continuously pave the way in fashion, art, music, design, entrepreneurship and beyond. GOAT is looking for a full-time Managing Editor to run point on all planning and content production pertaining to its in-house bi-annual print publication, GREATEST. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in editorial publishing, is highly deadline-driven and is well-versed in handling all facets of the magazine production cycle from start to finish including, but not limited to: creating a print production timeline; pitching talent to profile; coming up with initial creative concepts for shoots; assisting the team with outreach to talent, creatives and brands; negotiating rates and managing contracts, invoices, call sheets, etc. as well as having excellent project management skills.  This role reports into the Sr. Director of Content and will work closely with our Creative Director and dedicated Project Manager to successfully publish two print issues per year from start-to-finish. Above all, this person loves magazines, fashion, music, art, design and anything-between. We are looking for someone who can expand GREATEST’s footprint on a global scale with nuanced ways of bridging what appears within each issue to potentially real-life activations and digital moments with our readers and community alike.
