About the RoleHighspot is seeking a business-minded, technology-focused lawyer to serve as Lead Product Counsel and, over time, to build the Legal Product Team at a rapidly growing, Series E startup valued at over $2B.  As Lead Product Counsel, you will provide advice to Highspot’s product and engineering teams.  Specific responsibilities will include advising on product roadmaps, identifying compliance and regulatory issues, and privacy by design.  You will also work cross-functionally with other teams, including Security and Marketing.  Experience with data protection and privacy at a B2B SaaS company and/or with Artificial Intelligence is strongly preferred.  The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, technology savvy, client-service oriented, and comfortable with ambiguous situations.  The role requires application of complex, evolving legal frameworks to new and innovative products and services.  This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal department and establish the product counsel team, learn about interesting new technologies, and work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
