About the Role

Twitch is looking for a Senior Event Manager to support the planning and execution of Twitch's first party global community convention, TwitchCon. You will report to the Director of TwitchCon and will work with the marketing, sales, community, and partnerships teams to develop plans for safe and operationally excellent events. This is an opportunity for a dynamic event manager to join our growing team and make a significant contribution building our in person events that connect the Twitch community. You are creative, technically knowledgeable, and motivated to produce high-quality customer-facing events.

You Will:

  • Manage expo floor planning and operations from pre to post, including vendor sourcing, contracting, invoicing, logistics, expo floor build, sponsor integration, and onsite management.
  • Manage safety and security protocols to ensure the health and safety of all event participants - including COVID regulations, pre and post security plans, coordination with our agency partners responsible for security.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales, partnerships, content and community teams ensuring that their needs are met and goals achieved at events.
  • Manage event budgets related to your your responsibilities
  • Manage and escalate project issues, and establish success metrics for projects and ensure performance is tracked and measured
  • Manage and contract approved vendors

You Have:

  • 5+ years experience managing trade show and in person event programs
  • Experience defining program requirements and using metrics to determine improvements
  • Capability to move easily between generating big ideas, and driving ongoing process improvement
  • Experience working across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Able to travel more than 30 days a year
