Engineering at Brex

The Engineering team includes Data, IT, Security, and Software, and is responsible for building innovative products and infrastructure for Brex and our customers. We believe that engineers should accelerate the business through technology, and collaborate across multiple teams to accomplish that.

What you’ll do

Brex is a Remote First company, so we need to have the best tools and processes available in order to collaborate effectively.  We want the best of both worlds: the flexibility of being a remote company AND the rich collaboration of being in the office.  In this role, you’ll work on solving the challenges of remote collaboration and put the right technology in place to help us maintain a competitive edge and build the best products for our customers


  • You’ll be the first TPM working on collaboration technology at Brex.  You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing a vision for what collaboration should be at a Remote First company
  • Create a narrative around our goals and communicate out to the company.  Work across Brex to ensure we’re surfacing the right problems and delivering impactful solutions
  • Survey the market for the best available tools and help Brex get our hands on them so we can find out what works.  Create a seamless collaboration experience over time
  • Surface the right data and insights, and define the success criteria by which we’ll hold ourselves accountable
  • Manage the delivery of the different technology tracks, and set them up for operational success


  • Proven technical program/project delivery. You have managed large XFN delivery of complex and visible technology initiatives in an enterprise
  • Passionate about collaboration. You should be familiar with the collaboration challenges of working remotely and have strong opinions about what works
  • Leadership presence. You’ll be communicating regularly with executives, leaders, and teams throughout the company.  You should enjoy a high level of visibility
  • Proven ability to manage through ambiguity and create buy-in with cross-functional teams
  • Data driven. You must have a demonstrated ability to surface data and insights to prove hypotheses and measure success
