About the Role

As the Head of Sales Operations , you’ll work directly with our Head of Operations and GTM leaders to deeply understand and improve our GTM engine across Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Partnerships. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with our Product, Risk, and Operations teams to drive critical GTM projects and deliver on ambitious growth goals. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Ramp’s growth efforts across all functions. 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and build out Ramp’s Sales Operations team to support a fast-growing Sales org to 75-100+ reps, covering sales systems & tooling, operations & process, headcount planning, quota & commissions, and enablement
  • Work directly with Head of Operations to translate go-to-market strategy into action and ensure operational metrics are aligned with P&L forecasts
  • Partner with Head of Sales and broader GTM Leadership to operationalize sales motions via playbooks, processes, and tools for reps and front line managers
  • Oversee regular reporting and forecasting, and proactively provide insights to GTM and Ops managers
  • Improve and streamline sales and post-sales processes to increase rep efficiency and productivity 
  • Ensure key GTM Systems tooling and infrastructure is set up for scale
  • Serve as a key leader on the Ramp GTM leadership team, helping shape the sales strategy across the entire business

What You’ll Need

  • 8-10+ total years of experience, with at least 5+ building revenue operations or sales operations at a B2B startups that have yielded exponential growth
  • You’re a master with Excel, PPT, SFDC, and comfortable with BI tools. 
  • You have SFDC admin experience, and a strong understanding of broader GTM systems & tooling (marketing automation, Segment, etc)
  • You’re a structured thinker with a natural capacity to distill complex concepts and effectively communicate them to a variety of audiences
  • You have a “get things done” mentality; you can dissect problems, identify solutions, and drive these solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy
  • You have an exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech high-growth startups scaling GTM teams of 200+
  • Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, and/or operations & strategy at a fast-growing startup
  • Command of SQL and other GTM business systems and tools
  • Passion for or curiosity to learn about financial technology
