About the Role

As an early member of our product operations organization, you will support Ramp’s growth and savings offerings for our customers as we scale. This role supports the savings team which was previously Buyer and Ramp’s first acquisition. You will leverage data to identify opportunities for our users, build out automation, help manage contract analysis, and increase our overall operational efficiency in how we generate savings. You’ll work closely with relationship managers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and the rest of the company to define ways to help Ramp scale savings (such as procurement intelligence, merchant data, generating savings insights, and more!).

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct contract analysis, and support the savings team as we scale procurement-as-a-service to our customers.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings for our users.
  • Help define the roadmap for the savings team’s vision and mission as Ramp continues to scale.
  • Use data to identify opportunities on how we can improve the product experience, savings experience, and overall value brought to customers. 
  • Define updates and improvements in product specs in partnership with product and engineering. 
  • Work with engineering, support, and product on scaling Ramp’s issue management
  • Research SaaS vendors to inform qualifications and benchmarking data

What You Need

  • Minimum 1 year working in product operations, business analyst, or dealdesk roles 
  • Strong ability to use data to identify opportunities 
  • A solid understanding of how SaaS/IT contracts work
  • Ability to work in undefined spaces
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong investigative and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with and expanding on internally used tools (dashboards) 
  • Excellent communication, especially when summarizing complicated billing structures.

Nice to Haves

  • Querying data via SQL
  • Experience in SaaS Sales
  • Experience with Retool and Salesforce
