About the Role:

Mynd is looking for a Head of Growth Strategy and Operations to develop and deliver on a go-to-market strategy to become the clear market leader in buying, selling, and financing for individual investors as well as institutional investors. 

The Head of Growth Strategy and Operations should bring extensive experience in strategy development and have a track record of managing, and reporting on complex business plans in a high growth, entrepreneurial environment. This is a new and highly visible, strategic and cross-functional role that offers the opportunity to transform the addressable market and customer lifetime value for a company that has already established itself as a leader in the tech-enabled property management space. The role will report to the VP of Growth, but work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to drive a core pillar of Mynd’s growth strategy.


  • Develop and own the roadmap and financial plan for Mynd’s Buying, Selling, Mortgage, and Insurance business lines for individual (retail) investors
  • Build a strong team of Growth strategy managers and associates to identity and drive strategic initiatives like pricing changes, product / service launches, and market expansion
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy, refine service offerings as needed, and optimize pricing and bundling
  • Work closely with the Marketing & Growth teams to deploy marketing budgets, evaluate ROI, and adjust as necessary
  • Work with the Sales and Product team to build a great customer experience that enables a high sales force productivity and ability for investors to self-serve where possible


  • 10+  years of work experience, including driving strategy / strategic projects at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank, or similar
  • Startup and/or technology experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities: you’ve built, led and developed high-performing teams
  • Track record of delivering major strategic and cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Real estate and/or financial services experience (or other highly considered consumer purchase) is a plus
  • Exceptional history of academic performance is required in addition to an undergrad degree from a top academic institution. MBA is a preferred, but not required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: you bias for action, seek to make many (different) mistakes, celebrate wins and are passionate about creating and delivering value
