About the Role

As a foundational designer on our Brand Studio team, your contributions will be key in helping us distinguish and define Ramp as the brand leader in our category. Ramp Design is a multi-disciplinary team comprising product design, writing, and operations. We work on high-impact and foundational projects across the company—shaping our brand voice and tone to codify the design systems that underpin our website, advertising, and marketing materials.

The ideal candidate has experience working within a design system and on a broad range of marketing executions. You'll be responsible for the execution of a visual design strategy—including layout design, building and maintaining image libraries, assisting on art direction for photoshoots, and motion. You’ll work alongside the Creative Director, our growing team of brand designers, contractors and agency partners.

What You'll Do

  • Evolve, elevate, execute, and maintain image libraries, templates and guidelines for the Ramp visual identity 
  • Be a key creative collaborator for brand marketing efforts like campaigns, events, and product launches
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on creative strategy, execution, and production
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and evolution of our visual aesthetic
  • Ensure consistency of design work and cohesion across multiple channels
  • Present your work to cross-functional partners within marketing and across the company
  • Balance multiple projects at a time while meeting tight deadlines

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in design software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • A refined grasp of design fundamentals: typography, color, and layout
  • Experience with animation, illustration, image-making, photography
  • Strong communication to advocate for the brand and its impact
  • Ability to maintain a high-bar for craft and elevate the work of others
  • Ability to think at a systems level and execute high-quality work consistently
  • Capable of receiving and giving constructive criticism
  • Kind, curious, and generous

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with illustration
  • Experience at a high-growth startup
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design or adequate experience working in the industry
