About the Role

Since launching in early 2020, Ramp has experienced exponential product-led growth. Unlike traditional finance tools, we generate a lot of customer love, primarily because the user experience is so much better. Over 2,000 businesses are using Ramp as their primary spend management tool with tens of thousands of users interacting with our platform every day. 

We’re now looking for a Head of Community who will foster this nascent community of Ramp users. The successful candidate will obsess over helping our customers engage with Ramp and each other in meaningful ways that encourage product adoption and increased customer engagement. This is a key role on Ramp’s Marketing team, which will be tasked with influencing critical business metrics such as product usage, Net Promoter Score, number and quality of support tickets, share of wallet and churn.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and own Ramp’s community strategy which will encompass product education, customer events and digital forums. 
  • Build and manage a world class team who can execute on that strategy
  • You and your team will be the face and voice of Ramp to our community, capturing and sharing feedback from them, responding to their requests, driving consideration for our products, and programming community events
  • Obsess over how to effectively onboard, activate, educate and retain Ramp customers
  • Work cross functionally across marketing, product and GTM teams to ensure our community strategy is executed across our website, in our product and on relevant third party properties. You’ll also ensure customer needs are communicated back to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Lead a team that produces high quality onboarding and educational content in multiple formats including video
  • Develop community led activations and activations in concert with our users
  • Produce webinars and other video content to educate and inform customers 
  • Launch and manage a digital forum for customers, to engage directly with Ramp and each other, as well as getting support and giving product feedback

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 7 years experience in a similar marketing role e.g. content, product education, customer success etc. preferably in fintech, software or financial services 
  • Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders 
  • Experience building and managing a team of high-impact marketers
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines is essential
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
