About the Role:

Mynd is looking for a Growth Marketing Associate to experiment with and build new marketing channels for Mynd’s property management and marketplace (buying, selling, and financing of single-family investment properties) business lines. The Growth Marketing Associate is a cross-functional thought partner, working closely with other departments to meet initiatives and goals. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self-managing, and thrives  working in a fast paced start-up environment.  

Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this role will be crucial to accelerate direct growth for the company after establishing a foothold as an innovating tech-enabled property management platform in 19 markets and growing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build out & optimize our affiliate/aggregator channel
  • Own audience & creative tests for direct mail 
  • Actively pitch new ideas to test for both direct mail and affiliates 
  • Track results and develop conversion goals 
  • Collaborate with Sales on lead quality 
  • Collaborate alongside other growth initiatives with Product and Dev teams to optimize acquisition
  • Present results, findings and craft a data driven narrative to influence the direction of the channels you own 
  • Drive business outcomes based on informed hypotheses and tests 
  • Influence creative/design based on audience makeup 
  • Partner with marketing initiatives to increase engagement and conversion of paid leads
  • Grow & develop relationships with vendors to increase value add opportunities
  • Manage pacing, budget, and vendors to maximize new owners 

Qualifications:

  • 1+  years of experience in a high performing digital/growth marketing role, with a focus on consumer acquisition
  • Attention to detail and an ability to effectively balance big-picture strategic work with execution
  • Self-starter with an ability to navigate the organization to achieve individual and team goals
  • Analytically driven with a strong understanding of data, related tools and the underlying methodologies used to inform decision making
  • Ideally some familiarity with industry specific tools, such as: DCM, Segment, GA, GTM, Unbounce, DSPs, etc
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer empathy with a hyper-focus on what resonates with the target audience
  • Growth mindset and opt for action (through testing, for example) when it comes to driving growth
  • Experience in start-up environments dealing with Travel, Finance, Auto, Furniture, or B2B lead generation, a plus
  • Passion for real estate/property management
