About the Role:

Twitch's Mobile Games team builds features and products for mobile first users. Android and iOS represent a fast-growing share of Twitch viewership. As Android Engineer at Twitch, you will drive key initiatives and build features for mobile only users playing co-op with teams across the company. You will report to the Engineering Manager for Mobile Gaming.

You Will:

  • Build, deliver and measure high impact experiences for our mobile only Android users
  • Collaborate and play co-op with fellow backend, frontend, and mobile engineers
  • Work across both technical and business-focused teams to deliver value to our users
  • Understand dynamic and challenging requirements for viewers and creators in mobile Twitch markets

You Have:

  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years building mobile applications on Android
  • Proficiency with Kotlin, Java development ecosystems
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity or experience working with GraphQL APIs, CI / CD, or AWS
  • Experience with any of C++, Networking Stack or OpenGL APIs
  • Experience building cloud-based (AWS, …) backend services (go, java, python, …) or web frontend (react native, JS, …)
