About the Role:

The Information Technology (IT) Systems Manager directs departmental management activities centered on hardware devices and physical infrastructure. This position contributes to developing, implementing, and managing hardware supply chains. It is a hands-on, supervisory position that includes recommending new technology solutions, automation, and integration consistent with the overall IT Strategic Plan.  The IT Systems Manager is accountable for meeting SLAs related to user endpoints and office networking, including delivery, uptime, performance, and lifecycle.   

As a tech-enabled operations-focused company, we are building the operating system for the future of the small residential industry.   Given our rapid national expansion, IT is critical to the success of the firm.  We believe in leveraging latest-generation technology in our IT infrastructure.  The IT Systems Manager will be part of the team responsible for meeting Mynd’s technology needs as we grow, making recommendations for continuous improvement, and managing the implementation of new solutions.

Responsibilities:  

    • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Systems Team, which includes:
      • Troubleshoot hardware, software and OSs remotely.
      • Provision hardware, including computers and phones, for new employees and assist with their on-boarding.
      • Test and create deployment packages for software and upgrades.
      • Maintaining network and application security on all endpoints, servers and appliances.
      • Be the first point of contact for issues regarding equipment, software and other IT requests.
    • Work with internal business partners and other stakeholders to manage projects through the entire development lifecycle.
    • Communicate clearly with peers as well as management and provide technical leadership.
    • Provide updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via telepresence, email or in-person communication.
    • Coordinate activities with the other technology teams.
    Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology (or related Computer Science experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in Manager role
  • 2+ years of experience in Windows, MacOS, IPv4/Wireless Networking, and MDM
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to stay calm and methodical under pressure
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong analytical abilities
  • Experience automating processes and operating at scale
  • Regular Travel required
  • IT industry certifications are a plus.
