Vanta is on a mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data. Our security tools have been adopted by more than 1,200 fast-growth, early stage companies including Lattice, Notion, Chili Piper, Clubhouse, Gem and more, mostly through word of mouth. 
 
We’re now looking for our first experienced front-line BDR Manager to build and manage a team of sales reps who drive pipeline through outbound prospecting. You’ll join a small but growing team and have an outsized impact on Vanta’s GTM engine. 
 
You will…
  • Build, motivate, and manage a distributed team of BDRs focused on driving sales pipeline through outbound prospecting
  • Create repeatable processes that lead to predictable pipeline contributions from BDRs
  • Define quarterly quotas and activity goals alongside sales and marketing leadership
  • Develop sales playbooks to drive BDR consistency 
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting on BDR progress to leadership
  • Conduct outbound prospecting alongside reps
  • Partner closely with, and influence, marketing lead generations strategies 
  • Monitor team activity and coach best practices to drive prospect engagement

You might…

  • Have 2+ years of sales leadership experience including hiring, coaching, and leading BDRs
  • Be comfortable defining the BDR function in a high velocity sales model - to do this, you’ll rely on data to form your recommendations
  • Enjoy experimenting with cadences to discover which sequences drive the highest engagement
  • Have a thoughtful strategy for reaching prospects in new ways
  • Be self-sufficient in Salesforce, Outreach, or similar CRM and sales tools
  • Consider yourself someone who enjoys the art and science of selling
  • Want to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative team
