OpenTable is looking for an entrepreneurial, highly analytical, customer-focused Product Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. OpenTable’s mission is to help diners experience the world through dining by building connections between diners and restaurants. As a part of the Marketplace team, you will focus on solving problems that would impact both the diners and restaurants. You will be building creative solutions, enabling our restaurant partners to grow their business in multiple verticals - experiences, private dining. You will also be responsible for scaling our Premium Access business which allows diners to get access to rare to find restaurants. You will own projects that are core to the company’s new user growth strategy and drive significant revenue. .
Work closely with user research and design teams to understand both the restaurant as well diner’s needs, mindsets, and segments.
Partner with the restaurant teams to understand customer pain points and effectively build and communicate the roadmap to solve those.
Work closely with the engineering team by openly and continuously communicating product vision, delivery objectives, and priorities.
Participate in team scrums and sprint planning, define and prioritize tasks, and groom the backlog.
Manage and develop relationships with 3rd party digital wallet providers.
At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager shipping product directly to non-technical end users.
Experience building and optimizing site pages, keeping user needs and SEO best practices in mind.
Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and articulate customer problems.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers.
Proven track record of shipping product features that deliver results.
Demonstrated experience using data and analytical skills to help solve problems and make decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders.
BS in science, engineering, or equivalent technical is a plus.
Restaurant industry experience and/or a passion for food and dining is a plus.
