Our team is motivated by the drive to fundamentally rethink how organizations operate. This isn’t an academic exercise - we convert our concepts into user-friendly, enterprise-grade tools, and ship those tools to market as quickly as possible. On the back of strong growth in 2020, and with COVID-19 significantly accelerating our trajectory, OnFrontiers is hiring across every function. In the coming months, we’ll be making significant enhancements and major expansions in functionality to our flagship product, and build an entirely new product suite, while dramatically expanding our customer base and expert community.

Now a growth stage start-up, we are looking for a contract Account Manager - Marketplace who has significant experience in building multi-sided marketplaces to join our team. This is a role for someone who has a passion for marketplace platforms and mission-driven startups. Our Account Manager, Marketplace will act as a liaison between major accounts that are implementing/customizing our multi-sided marketplace and our product/engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be self directed yet able to work in teams, have significant client-facing account management experience, and have an innate understanding of multi-sided marketplaces and platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Lead meetings with clients to support the product development process, aligning customization of platform requirements with scalability requirements of internal teams.
  • Work with the Product Manager to communicate client business requirements to the product/engineering team.
  • Work on a globally distributed data team across timezones to make a large impact on OnFrontiers strategy.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 in a client-facing/account management role
  • BA/BS degree, with business-oriented concentration (e.g., economics, marketing, finance, engineering)
  • Exceptional relationship building skills, including written and verbal communication skills and a high comfort level with picking up the phone and initiating contact
  • Solid technical skills (Excel)
  • Proven track record of managing major account relationships effectively
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and experience in technical product development is a plus
  • Self-motivated and proactive

Additional experience would be great to have:

  • Design / ideation software (Figma, Balsamiq)
  • Expertise with SQL, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Hubspot are beneficial

Your personal data will be retained by Controller as long as Controller determines it is necessary to evaluate your application for employment.
