About the Technical Project Manager, Customer Success  Role:

As a Technical Project Manager, Customer Success at Vercel, you will be responsible for helping to coordinate, manage, and perform specific project tasks to ensure that desired timelines, budgets, and project expectations are met.  You will manage projects and projects cross functionally in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other groups in the business.


What You Will Do:  

  • Spec and source people to work on tasks for internal and external CS projects
  • Track the progress of projects ensuring visibility for the CS Director at all times
  • Provide feedback and CS impact on external projects to ensure a smooth launch
  • Write and maintain internal documentation, process, and policies
  • Handle the approval and administration of department expenses
  • Work with management to continually refine hiring forecasts and department goals
  • Create job specifications, and handle the interview process for CSMs
  • Conduct onboarding and training for all new CSMs
  • Help prepare metrics, slides, and reports ahead of meetings, evaluating any anomalies
  • Represent CS within meetings, keeping track of key topics and action points

About You:

  • You have rolled out SaaS products and features
  • You have been working in customer facing roles at SaaS and/or B2B companies for 5+ years
  • You possess an eagerness to build processes from the ground up in a startup environment
  • You practice strong independent problem solving skills
  • You have a commitment to clear and fast communication with both clients and colleagues

  • Have worked in a startup environment, building processes and programs from the ground up
  • Have experience with software development
