About the Copywriter role:

Vercel is looking for an eagle-eye writer and editor to develop content from outline to production. If you like the idea of wearing many hats and bringing your slew of skills to a fast-moving startup environment, we invite you to keep reading.

We're building out our content engine and are ramping up our production of customer stories, web pages, digital assets, thought leadership, sales enablement, and much, much more. As a copywriter, you’ll ensure our content follows grammar best practices, aligns with Vercel’s voice and tone, and urges readers to action.

What You Will Do:  

  • Develop blog posts, whitepapers, landing pages, customer stories, ebooks, and more aligned to marketing objectives
  • Review, edit, and improve content written by others based on Vercel’s style manual
  • Use SEO strategies in writing to maximize our content’s visibility in search results

About You:

  • Well-versed in writing compelling copy that converts
  • Enjoy writing both long-form and short-form content
  • Have basic SEO knowledge and can perform your own keyword research
  • Strong editor (Knowledge of AP style is a plus)
  • An effective and proactive communicator who enjoys collaborating and working with others
  • Driven and welcome constructive feedback to improve your skills
  • Passionate about all things writing, marketing, storytelling

 

Bonus If You: 

  • Have 3+ years experience in marketing as a content marketer, copywriter, or related role
  • Are well versed in writing and planning content for every stage of the marketing lifecycle
  • Experience in B2B sales and/or writing for complex topics and technical audiences
  • Agency experience a plus
