What Picsart is looking for in applicants

Real talk? We’ve done an awesome job rebranding the Picsart voice. And what we’re doing next is bringing that voice more into our product. That’s where this new, brilliant UX writer is going to come in and make a huge impact.

Ideally, you’ve got experience building relationships with Product teams, because that’s important. Almost as important as being a smart, strategic writer. The first big task is building a copy hub to streamline the process. You’ll work with the Copy Lead and several other writers to help shape the future of Picsart.

You should be ready to jump on new opportunities, get nerdy about what you do, and work fast and with flexibility to get the job done. This is a fast-paced work environment, so attentiveness and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must.

Picsart, the world’s leading creative platform and social editing app with more than 150M monthly active creators, is evolving the brand to better reflect our ambitions as a company. We’re looking for a talented writer who is just as excited about evolving a brand that matters in culture as we are.

  • Look at messaging through a global lens to help deliver experiences for different markets
  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to deliver UX solutions
  • Write clear, consistent, concise copy

  • Provide mentorship to other writers and educate partners on the role of UX writing and content strategy

Key Qualifications:

  • You have at least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates clear, concise UX writing.
  • You've developed a strong point of view about how in-product copy should sound, and how to balance this with Brand tone.
  • A fearlessness of JIRA.
  • A history of creative problem-solving.
  • The desire to help shape the future of an incredible brand.
