Picsart is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Scientist who is interested in developing cutting edge technologies for real-world computer vision problems. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable with theoretical thinking, coding and academic writing.


  • Research and develop novel state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms. Topics included but not limited to: Video/Image Semantic Segmentation;Video/Image Object Detection and Tracking;Face Attribute Editing;4k Face Generation;Facial/body landmark detection;Thematic Sticker Content Generation;Video/Image Inpainting / Object Removal;Video/Image Enhancement;High-Resolution Texture Synthesis;Neural Network Pruning;Neural Architecture Search;
  • Create and implement non-standard, fresh and creative scientific ideas to improve or speed up existing technologies
  • Push the ideas to improve the quality of designed models in terms of product requirements
  • Support and justify the new ideas with a theoretical and intuitive basis
  • Collaborate with product managers and dive deeper into the usage of the research, brainstorm with the product team on developing new creative ideas
  • Follow up and support the development of models in an end-to-end manner: from design to production
  • Analyze, Interpret and explain outcomes of non-trivial experiments.
  • Analyze the data used in experiments, understand the subtleties of it, modify appropriately if necessary
  • Communicate with data and product teams, write clear and understandable research requirement documents
  • Collaborate with other scientists, exchange novel and interesting ideas, and reflect these ideas in the research process.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of industry working experience in machine learning, deep learning (on computer vision tasks).
  • Has or currently is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or other related fields.
  • Experience in continuous development of ML/DL models and supporting them in the production
  • Experience in leading teams or mentoring is a plus
  • Experience in creating ML models for mobile devices is a plus
  • Experience in C++ is a plus
  • Experience in GANs is a plus
  • Experience in classic computer vision approaches is a plus
