About the Product

We’re building the definitive platform for AI technology, making it easier for developers to benefit from AI. Last year we introduced the OpenAI API which makes leading AI technology available to developers via a simple HTTPS call.

GPT3 was the first AI technology available via the API, allowing developers to integrate any language task into their product. The MIT Technology Review listed GPT3 as one of the 10 Breakthrough Technologies of 2021 (alongside mRNA vaccines!).

Recently, we introduced Codex into the API, a new product that translates natural language to code. Instragram’s co-founder called Github Copilot, an early product powered by Codex, “the single most mind-blowing application of ML I’ve ever seen”.

We’re working to bring other research efforts into the API, such as Dall-E, AI which generates images from text and CLIP, a state-of-the-art image classification AI.

In this role, you'll:

  • In partnership with the API leadership team, develop and execute the API Customer Success Strategy
  • Own and execute all API Customer Success programs and projects
  • Co-own revenue targets
  • Build, analyze, and report on customer success performance
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class customer success team
  • Closely monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners, etc.) to contribute to product roadmap and other corporate strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, communications, business operations, people operations, finance, product management, and engineering
  • Support conversations with prospects, customers, and partners
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of other teammates
  • Support the development of company culture

You might thrive in this role if you have experience:

  • Writing a 12-month customer success plan
  • Providing world-class customer support
  • Designing and executing complex, fast-paced customer success projects and programs
  • Owning a revenue target
  • Supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance companies
  • Hiring and managing part-time and full-time support and customer success professionals
  • Leading high-visibility customer events (CAB, conferences, product launches, etc.)
  • Gathering, distilling, and processing complex market (industry, competitor, customer, prospect) intelligence
  • Reporting on customer success activities
