The Sr. Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for building a team that drives pipeline and revenue growth for MongoDB products through scalable programs that leverage integrated campaign, ABM, digital, and field marketing tactics. 

You’ll partner with digital marketing, the integrated campaign team, account-based marketing, partner marketing, and to ensure your programs accelerate the sales cycle and improve conversion to customers. You are a data and results driven marketer, have a passion for coaching and developing talent, and easy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done!

The role will report into the Director, AMER Field Marketing

This role can be based remotely in the North American region.

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate for this role will have the following

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of marketing experience across any of the following: Field Marketing, Events, ABM, and Digital
• 2+ years people management experience
• Experience with account based marketing a plus
• Highly results driven with strong analytical ability 
• Experience working cross functionally with sales or customer success teams
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strong project management and problem solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite for Business
• Familiarity with CRM, Marketing Automation and Data systems; Salesforce, Eloqua and Tableau experience
• Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are key
• Ability to shift priorities and help other team members as needed
• Good humor and positive, can-do attitude is required

Position Expectations

• Closely integrate with the multiple teams across marketing to build Region-wide programs at scale for the AMER region
• Understand specific challenges of the different regions in AMER, including industry mix
• Understanding how to develop end to end marketing programs across multiple enterprise accounts, for example scalable programs
• Conduct market research and evaluation to understand regional and account opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams when creating new and updating existing materials, presentations and/or preparing for marketing activations
• Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional, and local programs
• Support the go-to-market and co-marketing plans for accounts
• Ensure performance and ROI are tracked, and supporting processes set up to effectively measure outcomes
• Work closely with the xDR teams to ensure rigorous follow up of all marketing leads across your region 

Success Measures

The Field Marketing Manager will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic tasks/responsibilities

• In 3 months you’ll have fostered a relationship with your Field Marketing teammates, Digital Marketing, and Integrated Campaigns and begin to analyze regional campaign performance. You will have built preliminary development plans for your staff and established an ongoing coaching cadence. 
• In 6 months you’ll have a clear understanding of your key objectives, will have started to build scalable programs, and have started to become a trusted partner to your marketing teammates. You will have a strong understanding of the regional budget and make recommendations for investment / divestment areas.

In 12 months you’ll have fostered relationships across internal MongoDB teams and have executed numerous scalable programs, leveraged data to make informed decisions to ensure tremendous ROI on field marketing executed programs, maintained flawless documentation and reporting of all programs to ensure success, and have a stake in future programming. Your team members will be fully ramped into the new role and the Regional Marketing function will be executing at a high level.
