We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on technical leader to build our new Financial Crimes Engineering (FinCrimes) team from the ground up.
FinCrimes keeps the bad guys out of Robinhood and out of the financial system. Our major areas of focus are anti-money laundering and sanctions screening systems. We partner and embed with the compliance and risk teams—to embody safety first
We treat compliance and financial crimes as an engineering problem rather than an operational problem or red tape. Our work is a blend of integrating third-party vendors as well as building systems and tools from scratch. The problem space requires a hybrid of software engineering, infrastructure engineering, and big data work.
We need a technical engineering leader who can own Actimize as a system for both case management and AML solutions. In addition to building solid, performant systems this leader will build the FinCrimes team from scratch—hiring great engineers, defining the team’s roadmap, and both managing and mentoring the folks hired.
