The People Team at MongoDB is looking for an independent, detail oriented professional to join our team as an Employee Experience Coordinator. In this role, you will get the opportunity to help scale the growth of our Employee Experience team as we grow our business while supporting employees and managers with their experience at MongoDB. You will be the face of the People Team to MongoDB employees serving as the main point of contact for all initial people inquiries and supporting issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all employees and people manager queries that come into HR. 
  • Act as liaison between Employees, Benefits, Management, Payroll, Shared Services, and outside vendors as needed, while providing advisory services for managers in performance management and capabilities.
  • Proactively consult, advise and administer leave programs (parental, STD, LTD, PFL, ECL, etc.) in accordance with company policies and the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.).
    • Own the Leave of Absence (LOA) process from start to finish, including working with employees and LOA vendors and tracking all LOA information (paperwork, return to work dates, extension requests, leave exhaustion dates, etc.)
  • Confidentially perform COVID-contact tracing processes in a swift and efficient manner
  • Maintain and update employee facing knowledge articles
  • Conduct research on a broad variety of people-management best practices
  • Build trusted relationships with employees 
  • Ensure employee data is up-to-date and accurate
  • Maintain employee documentation securely and confidentially 
  • Assist with imigration related issues
  • Arrange departmental meetings and calls 
  • Assist with other projects as assigned

Requirements 

  • B.S. degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience working in Human Resources 
  • Strong experience with leave administration and benefits support
  • High level of understanding of US Employment law
  • Knowledge of leave of absence administration and federal policies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill, with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior experience with HR Systems (i.e. SuccessFactors, ADP) and proficiency in Google Suite a plus
  • Prior experience working on Immigration issues a plus
  • Experience working in a remote environment a plus
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth technology environment a plus
  • Experience with Zendesk a plus
