You are passionate about working with data scientists and cross-functionally across a rapidly growing organization to identify and implement robust data science and machine learning solutions to complex business problems. MongoDB is one of the fastest growing technologies of all time and data is essential to maintaining our pace of growth. The Data Science Product Manager will be a key contributor to our emerging data science function, with responsibility for commercializing internal data science products and driving the product development roadmap. In this role you will be leading and owning a new product area for our data science team to the rest of the organization, helping to identify and prioritize the biggest opportunities for data science. 

What you'll be doing

• Create impact by integrating internal and external facing data science products into our partners production systems (e.g. Salesforce, MongoDB Atlas, etc.) 
• Own data science product roadmaps from concept to production launch and successful iteration in a fast-paced, partner-centric organization
• Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning can solve business needs in collaboration with Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales
• Craft product requirements to crisply identify problems, set goals, and define success metrics to help data scientist and machine learning engineers develop data science products
• Work closely with the broader organization across Product, Engineering, and go-to-market functions to build a shared long-term vision for our data science program

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in bringing products to customers, commercializing ML-based products, building data science applications, or general product management
• You can understand user needs at multiple levels (e.g. MongoDB end users and internal partners), and execute iteratively in a fast paced, business outcomes focused environment 
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for data analytics, enabling you to translate user needs into requirements that are achievable with data science/machine learning
• Ability to think strategically and tactically in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g. analytics, marketing, engineering, sales, customer support, etc.), with an understanding of when to partner with who, how our data science products serve our partners, and how to measure business impact
• Prior experience in a customer facing role or as a data scientist a plus
