About The Role

Robinhood is looking for an Enterprise Applications Release Manager to join our Business Applications team. As a senior member of the group, you will be responsible for developing and managing the engineering best practices, including eng and code reviews, collaborating on roadmaps, and driving resolution for complex architecture decisions. This role includes partnering with eng leads and program managers to drive alignment with partner teams on requirements for strategic programs and enhancement requests across all Robinhood business units. You will indirectly lead and mentor engineers from across Business Applications to support the growth of the organization, and dive deeply to solve complex engineering issues You will ensure that the enterprise SaaS technology and Data Engineering architecture and systems support the growth and strategy of Corporate Engineering. What You’ll Do Day-to-day

• Act as an architect, lead, and mentor. Own and drive key project deliverables, indirectly leading other team members.
• Partner with Program Management and Engineering Leadership to drive strategic conversation with partner teams to identify technical dependencies review proposed solutions, and drive release coordination
• Support integration engineers developing with Oracle Integration Cloud Services, Airflow, and Spark for all business applications, including the following:
• Finance (Oracle Cloud, Anaplan, Coupa, and other customer-facing applications)
• HR (Workday), integrations with Greenhouse, benefits providers, etc.
• IT Ops (JIRA, Looker, OKTA, Slack)
• Legal (Ironclad, TerraTrue, CounseLink)
• Develop and drive engineering standards and processes to ensure integration architecture across the ecosystem is secure, compliant, efficient, and scalable.
• Prioritize and maintain a calendar of software releases across application portfolios,and complete engineering work while addressing cross-team interdependencies
• Build best practices in Engineering tooling, processes, and workflows as well as brainstorming new methods of efficiency to scale our team.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of integration design, and create tasks to modify as needed for performance
• Develop and lead processes to ensure engineering best practices across the ecosystem resulting in secure, compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Support the translation of business requirements to engineering sprints, ensuring technical solutions are fully validated and meet functional requirements.
• Be a lead and evangelist for change advisory boards to ensure all deployments comply with IT security policies, engineering guidelines, and standards.
• Help measure the effectiveness of integration design, and create tasks to modify as needed for performance
• Design and oversee engineering specifications are met and maintained for all integrations
• Publish and maintain Release Calendar and Deployment Schedules.

About You

• Self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges with little to no supervision
• 8+ years proven experience in design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise SaaS applications
• 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience in quality and release engineering practices, test automation, SDLC, etc
• Technical understanding of development tools, source control, artifact management, and continuous integration build systems. e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences with customer focus and problem-solving approach..
• Ability to find out-of-box solutions to best fit Robinhood's needs.
