We are seeking to hire an experienced Marketing Specialist to assist us executing our field marketing LATAM strategy. 

This role is remote optional until April 4, 2022, we are looking to speak to candidates who plan to be available in Sao Paulo or Mexico City for when we introduce our hybrid model.

Role Description

The LATAM Marketing specialist will be responsible for driving the full execution lifecycle of regional marketing plan from overseeing strategy, designing the execution and beyond. 

You’ll own relationships across MongoDB’s marketing and sales network to ensure we are positioned to access, leverage, and collaborate effectively while executing our yearly plan. You’ll also work closely with other teams to develop and share best practices and industry trends across marketing, regularly acting as a consultant or support for other proprietary and third-party events.

You will be responsible for working closely with marketing and sales to prioritize, plan, and executive high-response client marketing initiatives. 

We're looking for someone who knows how to develop an event strategy from concept to execution.

This position will report to the LATAM Marketing Manager.

• Closely integrate with the Field Marketing Manager and Field Marketing team, supporting the needs of the LATAM region but open to support Americas when needed
• Work with field marketing team to coordinate MongoDB sponsored trade shows, events and digital programs from end to end
• Define and engage successful local demand generation activities in alignment with our Global team (webinars and events) aligned to business goals
• In collaboration with our global marketing team support the coordination of local content strategy by understanding our key audiences and industries
• Support the digital assets needed to drive specific activities (set-up of landing  pages, webinars & events registration, email  campaigns, follow up)
• Generate ideas for, and assist with, the creation of high-quality marketing content for the region (e.g. video, customer stories, blog articles)
• Analyze and provide insights on campaign performance and propose any improvements needed 

Requirements 

Could be located in Mexico or Brazil

• Comfort working independently and part of a large, distributed, global team. You must be a dynamic, hands- on person, ready to take on new challenges every day!
• Demonstration of a metrics-driven approach to success and can show Return on Investment (ROI) by tracking results from funded/co-marketing activity against budget
• 3+ years event planning experience and account management/marketing experience, preferably in a technology company
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs (Adobe AI / INDD is a plus)
• Eloqua/Salesforce experience is a plus
• Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are key
• Persistently collaborative and excited about “bringing others along” in the program planning journey
• Extreme sense of accountability
• Ability to work calmly under pressure/with a focused sense of urgency
• Ability to shift priorities and help other team members as needed
• Proficiency with Spanish, English and Portuguese 
• Knowledge and experience in the Latin American Market
• Good humor and positive, can-do attitude are required
