About the team:
The Benchmarking team is a diverse group of professionals, who work across Product/Market, Finance, Internal Operations, and Customer Loyalty. We collaborate with teams across the organization to drive decision making on our highest level company priorities. Our new associate will join a growing team within the benchmarking function that assesses all aspects of Robinhood’s financial and internal performance against competitors - working to outline future growth opportunities, identify performance gaps, and advise on industry standard methodologies.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Research and Analysis: Source, structure, and analyze data to find opportunities and threats.
- Program Management: Support complex programs, align scope with cross functional partners and present results to team members at all levels of the organization.
- Critical Thinking: Explore new opportunities and consolidate findings into data-driven conclusions that support strategic decision making.
- Industry and Marketplace Expertise: Become a go-to expert for your worksteam, developing a sound understanding of industry trends, standard methodologies, innovations, and competitive insights.
- Navigate Ambiguity: Distill complex business problems into their essential elements and prioritize work that helps Robinhood improve and grow.
About you:
- 1-3 years of related experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, investing firm, and/or experience in an Internal Strategy role at a leading technology company
- Robust quantitative and qualitative analytical skills using hard data and metrics, excellent attention to detail, and good intuition for business
- Have an ownership mentality, be creative/transformative, and know how to get things done; able to handle and thrive in ambiguous situations
- Self-starter, possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment
- Strong oral and written communication
- Can work cross functionally and support complex programs
- Have consulting project and/or M&A diligence experience; able to work autonomously to deliver high quality work and operate under tight deadlines; able to ramp up quickly on unfamiliar and ambiguous topics
Bonus points:
- Intermediate-level SQL experience and basic knowledge of other programming languages
- Experience working in or advising financial services firms & fintechs
