Individuals in the Growth Customer Success Manager role have a passion for technology and the ambition to dive head-first into new challenges. This is a relatively new role at MongoDB, so we are looking for someone who can thrive with a high level of ambiguity and changes while maintaining a customer-centric approach and helping us build the program.

In this role you work with a portfolio of 40-50 rapidly growing MongoDB Atlas customers. This segment of customers have mid-level spend ($50-$200k annually) but show the highest potential to grow. 

This role is remote optional until April 4, 2022, we are looking to speak to candidates who plan to be available in Mexico City for when we introduce our hybrid model.

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 2+ years experience working in a Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, or other similarly customer-centric roles 
  • A background and passion for driving growth within a customer portfolio through enablement sessions, strategy meetings, business reviews, and etc. 
  • A mind for technology - we’ll teach you about MongoDB and databases, but our customers and product are inherently technical and you should have an aptitude and curiosity to learn about those concepts
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment - each Growth CSM will manage a book of high growth Cloud Customers
  • An entrepreneurial mindset - this is a new role so you must thrive in a highly changeable environment and enjoy contributing to building best practices for the position 
  • High levels of organization and attention to detail - you take ownership of customer situations and see everything through to resolution
  • Team player and passion for collaboration - this role will work with some of our most strategic growth customers so must align closely to sales, Professional Services, Tech Services, and the broader MDB ecosystem
  • Prior exposure to database, cloud and infrastructure technology is a plus
  • For Austin: Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

On a given day in this role you will

  • Work as a strategic advisor to the customer — aligning not only to their MongoDB initiatives, but also their internal processes, bottlenecks, and overall corporate strategy
  • Promote the implementation of MongoDB features during every customer touchpoint using playbooks, product signals, and other relevant data points to look for opportunities to expand the MongoDB footprint with your customers
  • Leverage data signals and proactive outreach to identify and address potential risk within your portfolio
  • Partner closely with MongoDB executives, product managers, and leadership to achieve positive customer outcomes
