Our world class security team is seeking a forward looking, innovative and experienced senior security professional who will have the visionary skills to take our existing physical security program to the next level.

The Director of Physical Security will design, implement and monitor safety and security policies, procedures and programs.

They will also provide strategic direction and leadership for corporate security.

This is a hybrid role, and requires someone with experience in handling cyber security tasks such as managing table top exercises; liaising with other internal groups on matters of security (both physical and cyber), and delivering educational programs and communications on security policies and topics to ensure our staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues.

This is a newly formed role for us, and the successful candidate will be expected to work on their own a large amount of the time, creating the processes, policies and procedures necessary for an effective and impactful security office.

The role task list below is not exhaustive, and the successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative with little or no supervision.

This role will involve global travel for about 25% of the year and will report directly to the Deputy CISO.

This role would include

• Executive Liaison
• Liaising with Executives and their Assistants to help with travel security and planning
• Providing direction and guidance to senior executives regarding travel and security overseas
• Facilities management
• Regular communication with Facilities Management teams globally
• Establishing physical security targets for IT staff including camera installations and software rollout/maintenance
• Hybrid role
• Working with CISO and team on security solutions covering both cybersecurity and physical security
• Identifying, investigating and resolving physical and cybersecurity breaches
• Governance Risk and Compliance collaborative efforts
• Helping to identify areas of high risk to the organization and creating policies, procedures and processes to mitigate these risks
• Expanding and enhancing existing processes and procedures including Business Continuity Planning and Risk Management, related to physical security
• Monitor organization compliance with regulations, in conjunction with the Governance Risk and Compliance team

Education and training should include but not limited to 

• 7 years minimum experience in managing a physical security program
• Business Continuity and Planning
• Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting
• Counterterrorism and Security Operations
• Intelligence Operations/Insider Threats
• Threat Assessments and Mitigation Plans
• An education in criminal justice would be an advantage
• FEMA Emergency Management experience a plus

This role can be based out of one of our offices or remotely in the North America region.
