Technical Content Developer

Mission: LiveRamp makes it safe and easy for businesses to use data effectively. 

LiveRamp's Product Training team is looking for content developers to help design and build a new way of learning for both LiveRampers and customers. The team is responsible for creating certification paths to help ramp up users. You will be a part of a new and unique team working to make learning easily available to the masses.

 

You will:

  • Create new technical training material on LiveRamp’s products
    • Work with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to become an expert in LiveRamp’s products
    • Build content for both external clients and internal employees
    • Create trainings using Google Docs and Google Slides
    • Create course scripts to be recorded by Product Trainers for on-demand training
    • Create lab exercises, quizzes, and certifications for courses
    • Organize technical training needs into related learning plans and courses
  • Maintain existing technical training on LiveRamp’s products
    • Gather feedback from trainees and update content as necessary
    • Update training based on LiveRamp product changes

 Your team will: 

Be responsible for creating and maintaining product training for both internal and external users. Courses that are created by the Product Training team are used to ramp up new hires, create career paths for internal team members, create a certification program to track achievements, and share product knowledge with external customers.

About you: 

  • Experience in technical writing of training or documentation
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or other subject matter experts to gather detailed information about complex products
  • Experience training or mentoring new team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to explain technical concepts in simple terms
  • Able to balance multiple projects and priorities at once, while still meeting deadlines
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multi-task skills, all while working under moving deadlines

 Bonus Points:

  • Experience in creating and maintaining adult learning material: slide decks, handouts / takeaways / job aids, documentation, lab exercises, etc.
  • Experience in SQL, Active Records, APIs, and/or command line tools
  • Experience with LiveRamp’s products
  • Experience with AdTech or MarTech
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Can take the initiative and is creative and imaginative and willing to think outside the box
  • Positive, collaborative attitude
