About  The  Role 

Doma is seeking an Events Manager to join our corporate marketing team. This role reports to the Director of Events Marketing and will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of a variety of digital and in-person events, both Doma-hosted and Doma-attended. The Events Manager will play an integral role in assisting the events team in ideating, prioritizing, planning, organizing, and tracking events, in support of our Enterprise, Local, and Underwriting channels.

The ideal candidate is a well-organized, cross-functional team player, with a solid understanding of how events are used to drive sales pipeline impact and increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Events in evaluating existing Doma-hosted event programs and ideating new ones, based on defined goals and measures of success
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of events, tradeshows, exhibits, and sponsorships; work with enterprise division management to ensure brand consistency and measure results
  • Facilitate all aspects of digital and in-person event logistics, including site selection and/or digital event setup, vendor procurement and management, event registration, on-site logistics, budget tracking, pipeline reporting, and post event surveys.
  • Craft promotional event materials, including emails, landing pages, direct mail pieces, etc., partnering closely with the creative team to bring them to life
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, demand generation, design, and other groups to both ensure a seamless experience for event attendees and to meet and exceed event goals and objectives
  • Measure and report back to marketing and sales leadership on event metrics and outcomes; identify opportunities for learning and improvement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of event marketing experience, across both digital and in-person events
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once, and – an absolute MUST - stick to deadlines!
  • Ability to work with a highly collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Ability to execute quickly and with limited supervision
  • Experience managing events tied to a budget and sales pipeline (I.e., accountable for lead generation)
  • Enjoys the creative side of event planning, but thrives on driving measurable outcomes for the business
  • Motivated, positive attitude, and results-oriented
  • Mix of field and corporate event marketing a plus!
