As a Alliance Technical Lead, you will drive BetterUp’s revenue growth by contributing to the development and execution of strategies to build partnership revenue streams for BetterUp through recruiting and enabling with at least one Strategic Technology Partner (e.g., Workday). In this role, you will lead joint go-to-market activities with a Strategic Partner, and work closely with BetterUp Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Alliances team to meet our goals. You will be the central point of contact for representing the 360-degree view of our Partnership across multiple work streams and will lead regular reviews with both internal and external VP+ leaders.

Successful candidates will be highly effective communicators, empathetic relationship builders, and be comfortable with changing priorities, responsibilities and diving deep into analysis of metrics for data driven decisions.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and maintain strong positive relationships with technology partners to achieve partnership goals including driving new and existing business revenue opportunities, and co-marketing activities
  • Translate BetterUp’s alliance strategy into day-to-day management by leading one or more high priority technology partnerships (e.g., Workday)
  • Partner with BetterUp’s product team on new technology partnerships and integrations
  • Lead & manage standing alignment meetings with your Strategic Partner(s) - keep priority activities moving forward with the right prioritization of time & resources
  • Program manage joint GTM activities with stakeholders from multiple departments across BetterUp and our Strategic Partner(s)
  • Act as the central point of contact for BetterUp teams to engage with your Partner regarding new opportunities
  • Maintain the status of your Strategic Partner(s) for reviews with senior leadership
  • Work with our sales leadership team and reps to leverage our partners to co-sell and accelerate our sales cycle
  • Train and influence partner sellers by refining value propositions to meet specific client needs and facilitate client introductions
  • Collaborate with our Marketing team on partner marketing strategy across demand generation, field initiatives, product marketing and activation

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 3+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying experience in a SaaS sales, customer success, or partner manager role
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record of achieving revenue-focused KPIs
  • An energized self-starter with the ability to navigate and execute across multiple teams in a fast-moving organization
  • Experience using salesforce.com to manage opportunities and revenue 
  • Experience presenting and building relationships with internal and external Executive Leadership Teams; selling to multiple-stakeholders
  • Proven history of negotiating partnership pricing and contracts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines when necessary
  • Creative problem solver and resourceful in meeting project goals with your partners
  • Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams across the company to meet joint goals and objectives and to present this strategic vision to the Partner
