As the Director of Network Operations, you would be responsible for the growth and retention of our global coach network (currently at 3K coaches across 70+ countries, and 60+ languages), as well as the on-going balance and optimization of supply and demand. In addition, you would own all systems, operational processes, and vendors that power the end-to-end coach experience - including coach on-boarding, coach payments, coach staffing, and more. You would be responsible for building the operational infrastructure to support 10x scale and beyond.

What you’ll do:

  • Systems Building. Lead the strategy and execution for managing and optimizing systems that power the end-to-end coach experience, and propel BetterUp to 10x scale.
  • Operations Analytics. Leverage data to manage the-day-to-day operations, and  proactively identify and address issues or bottlenecks in system workflows and processes.
  • Strategic Planning. Collaborate with leadership on determining areas of investment and building teams that are equipped to deliver on BetterUp’s long-term mission.
  • Cross-functional leadership. Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Programs, and Labs to design and deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • Network Growth. Partner closely with Sales, Account Management and Customer Success to effectively meet the needs of our enterprise partners by strategically growing BetterUp’s coaching network.
  • Hire and develop for Craftspersonship. Build a diverse team of passionate, mission-oriented professionals committed to delivering customer experiences of the highest standard.

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 10+ years of management experience
  • Experienced and empathetic leader with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses and teams
  • Experience in marketplace technology platforms, education or health and wellness preferred
  • Prior experience within a startup 
  • Big picture thinker who is also very good with the details, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
