We’re looking for a curious-minded, media-savvy communicator to join our PR team and support the broader marketing team as we dream up creative ways to establish BetterUp as the leader in human transformation. 

What you'll do:

  • Evaluate inbound opportunities, research thought leadership speaking opportunities, and dream up innovative ways to establish BetterUp’s reputation through earned media.
  • Coordinate logistics  for press/media interviews and speaking opportunities. 
  • Support the creation of media briefing sheets, fact sheets, award submissions, and other press materials.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends and press pickup, analyze the outcome of public relations campaigns. 

If you have some or all of the following, please apply: 

  • 3-4+ years of experience working in communications or public relations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies. 
  • Ability to collaborate with executives, brand spokespeople, and members of the media. 
  • A strong suit for making authentic connections and collaborating with others across the team.
  • Keen attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and prioritize.
  • Openness and curiosity. We work to learn at BetterUp, and since the media landscape is constantly changing, we’re looking for someone who can be flexible in the face of ambiguity with a commitment to continuous learning.
