We are remote optional through January 10, 2022 afterwards this role will be in-office in our Dublin office long-term.

About The Role

We’re looking for a hardworking, driven leader with superb energy, passion and initiative to lead a highly talented Associate Account Executive team. The AAE Team concentrates exclusively on formulating and executing a sales strategy within assigned strategic Enterprise Accounts, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition within some of our largest accounts at MongoDB.

As the AAE Leader you will have a focus on recruitment, enablement and execution, you will drive both pipeline and  revenue within some of the largest and most strategic accounts in MongoDB. What You Will Be Doing

  • Have an in-depth and detailed understanding of MongoDB products to confidently provide mentorship for your AAE team
  • Enable, develop and empower your team to proactively prospect, identify, qualify, and build sales pipeline
  • Coach the team to move pipeline opportunities through the MongoDB sales process 
  • Evangelize our validated sales methodology MEDDIC and drive adoption and expertise within your team
  • Actively recruit Associate Account Executives for your team, according to MongoDB’s hiring criteria
  • Onboard and ramp new Account Executives and accelerate their productive capacity
  • Foster strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Manage strategic partnerships with the Enterprise Sales Team, Professional Services, Marketing and our Business Development organization
  • Run weekly forecast meetings and enablement sessions 

What You Will Bring To The Table

  • At least 2 years of experience leading Account Management or Inside Sales teams
  • At least 3+ years experience in a quota carrying role as an individual contributor 
  • Strong experience in closing new business and growing accounts
  • A true passion for sales & technology - we want leaders who love what they do and inspire their team
  • Top performer both as an individual contributor and Manager, Results oriented, with a track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player
