This is a high impact role working in a fast-paced environment to amplify the efficacy of the Product organization by establishing a foundation of operational excellence. 

Reporting to the Head of Product Operations, the Operations Manager will be responsible for driving initiatives to design, implement, measure, and evolve capabilities across the following areas:

  • People : Educating and equipping with resources to excel (e.g. onboarding, training, professional development, etc.)
  • Process : Promoting collaboration and focused execution (e.g. PDLC, prioritization, etc.)
  • Technology : Administering tooling and technology that empowers (e.g. ProductBoard, Jira, etc.)
  • Data : Enabling intelligence capabilities to be data informed (e.g. product health, win/loss, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and tackle strategic projects from defining new opportunities to executing key initiatives and closing the gaps within the product team.
  • Design and implement the operating structures, processes, and tooling required to maintain a highly effective Product team.
  • Own and drive the evolution of existing product operations e.g. Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), Release Reviews, etc. to further establish areas of operational excellence
    • Build, maintain, and communicate product launch plans and track the deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies from the cross functional launch team. 
    • Host, plan, and build content in partnership with Launch Plan Owners for interlock meetings that associate with key milestones within LiveRamp’s PLDC processes. 
    • Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies and provide escalation management throughout new product launch
    • Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to ensure they have the support needed to succeed.
    • Act as a part of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and ensure that the right launch management tasks/checklists are triggered based on the stage of PDLC
  • Operationalize cross-functional product processes that help drive alignment, collaboration, and deliver value to the business and to customers
  • Have a strong pulse and feedback loop on the organizational needs to inform priorities, communications, and successful implementation of critical initiatives
  • Create frameworks and reporting to help supervise, measure, and analyze operational performance
  • Use strong leadership and problem solving skills to assist with the daily operation of the product organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication, presentation and writing skills 
  • Strong accountability and project management for tasks without close supervision
  • 5+ years of relevant Operations experience preferred within a Software company
  • 2+ yrs relevant experience in Product Management or Product Operations preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to build excellent rapport with product management, product marketing, technical support, technical services, legal and contract management and commercial teams
  • Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking
  • Understanding and experience with Agile product development practices
