As our newest Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be eager to bring your storytelling and positioning expertise to the fold on Day One. You love to concisely and clearly articulate a complex product story to any audience. You are driven by best practices, fueled by creativity, and inspired by the BetterUp’s mission. You will be a critical part of our growing marketing team as you bridge the gap between product, marketing peers, and the larger BetterUp business strategy and initiatives. “Stakeholder management” is your middle name and “growth mindset” is your mantra. What you'll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding  of our user and buyer needs and write a product’s unique value proposition that addresses those needs. 
  • As an expert storyteller, you will collaborate with product management and marketing to translate the product’s value proposition into external messaging that “cuts through the noise” and targets key personas.
  • Partner with marketing channel experts to develop holistic  go-to-market plans for your product area - including creative asset development, sales enablement, and leading integrated planning across Content, PR, Revenue Marketing, Member Marketing, Internal Comms, and so on. 
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train the larger team on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Build scalable product demos that visually demonstrate the unique value we provide our customers.
  • Define success metrics for your product area.  Create a method for tracking and a view that allows for cross-functional partners to quickly assess the product performance and make decisions accordingly. 

If you have some or all of the following, please apply: 

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably with some B2B SaaS experience
  • You're a storyteller. You have a proven track record of creating compelling product narratives and applying them in written and verbal form.
  • You’re a great communicator. You have the ability to simplify the complex and are able to present it in a way that inspires other internal teams to co-create with you. 
  • You can see the whole picture. You have a proven track record of scaling high-impact, multi-channel go-to-market efforts.
  • You love working with cross-functional partners. You have demonstrated the ability to work with cross-functional teams, learn from them, and to support them to achieve their objectives.
  • You see change as an opportunity. You have demonstrated the ability to work through ambiguity and a rapidly changing work environment.
