We are looking for an innovative, experienced sales individual with great energy, passion and initiative to drive partner and channel sales for the fastest growing database on the planet, MongoDB. The Director of Partners role owns all things channel related in a specific area or geography. This individual will be responsible for developing a strategy to generate incremental pipeline, increase sales productivity, and close business leveraging and focusing on Cloud Providers and Global/Regional System Integrators within the territory

This role is remote optional until January 10, 2022, we are looking to speak to candidates who plan to be available in Hong Kong for when we introduce our hybrid model.

What you’ll do

  • Own, on behalf of territory RVP, all things' partner related
  • Manage Partners at an Area level but loop back to Regional Partner Leader
  • Interlock with Global Pillar team for backup and support
  • Recruit new partners as per agreed strategy
  • Drive Sales leveraging Area Partners
  • Own Quota for Partners in territory
  • Generate Pipe and Support Direct sales force on defined end user sales pursuits
  • Own Customer Happiness or CritSit accounts by Partner Area
  • Forecast Partner Sales Net New ACV to RD and Partner Leader weekly

We’re looking for someone with

  • At least 3 years in a direct sales role for a high technology company
  • At least +10 years in a partner / channel manager role
  • At least +5 years generating pipeline and selling with Global and Regional System Integrators
  • At least +5 years generating pipeline and selling with Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud)
  • At least +10 years Experience working in a heavy sales matrix model
  • Technically Knowledgeable in the open source software, big data, IoT, and Cloud computing space
  • Highly upbeat, autonomous, and results oriented
  • Able to build a strategy in line with global and local input, define a plan with clear priorities, and focus their energy accordingly
  • Demonstrated ability to get along with C-Level
  • Excellent knowledge of the region's partner ecosystem
