The Network Operations team’s mission is to build and enable a world-class coaching community that transforms lives at unprecedented scale and effectiveness. As the Senior Manager of Business Operations, you will own the end-to-end experience of our core coaching offerings with a keen focus on scale, operational efficiency, coach engagement and member impact. You will partner closely with our Sales, Product and Finance teams to design, evolve and scale key operational programs.

The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of entrepreneurial experience building and scaling a concept, a creative mind that designs innovative experiences, and a laser focus on value creation that delivers extreme financial impact for the company. This is a perfect role for a strong problem solver who is also a strong operator, leader, and influencer.

What you'll do: 

  • Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of BetterUp’s key coaching programs  with a focus on value creation, scale and efficiency
  • Creatively design new experiences that deliver greater impact, speed and efficiency for members and coaches
  • Define the program (mission, vision, tenets), set objectives, analyze data and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics
  • Hungrily uncover and solve complex business challenges with little guidance, while also surfacing key points of insights for the business 
  • Masterfully navigate key stakeholders from leadership to peers to coaches and be the liaison between our business partners and the Coach Experience team
  • Develop strategic, data-driven recommendations based on in-depth analyses of product and operational data 

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • Experience as an operator or entrepreneur creating, building and scaling a concept or idea
  • 7+ years of professional experience in operations, strategy & operations,  management consulting or as an entrepreneur
  • Strong execution skills, ability to consistently meet timelines, exceed expectations and operate from a sense of urgency, even through ambiguity or changing business needs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – can collaborate with and communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical leadership audiences
  • Proven ability to quickly climb new learning curves, communicate issues and formulate potential solutions
  • A sincere, collaborative, and empathetic personality characterized by a strong inclination to be part of a team of doers
  • Interest in organizational behavior, positive psychology, coaching, or behavioral sciences - we geek out over this stuff, daily!
  • Coach training and certification preferred
  • MBA preferred
