About the team:

Robinhood is looking for a Creative Lead to guide and grow our Creative Team, build bridges with our partners in other departments, and guide the growth and evolution of our brand. Part creative strategist and part creative (art or copy), this role is a balance between leadership and execution. You will be the main creative partner to our Partnerships team and work closely with them to solidify brand partnerships and creative campaigns that are rooted in strategy and meet business needs. You will succeed in this role if you can shift seamlessly from hands-on execution, to managing stakeholder/partner presentations, to directing design or copywriting resources and help ideate, conceptualize and pitch creative ideas to bring outstanding brand partnerships to life.

You think strategically and holistically about brand experience. You are a quick problem solver, a proven innovator who thrives on delivering elegant and unorthodox creative solutions to complex briefs. You have a passion for brand partnerships/collaborations and thrive on bringing brands together through creative executions.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Partner closely with the Partnerships, Growth and Brand Strategy teams to build co branded experiences that are true to our brand and delightful to our audiences
  • Work with XFN partners in developing and evolving the Robinhood partnerships strategy
  • Ideate, develop and pitch creative concepts
  • Manage external collaborators and partners
  • Build and drive creative presentations (both internal + external)
  • Be a Robinhood brand advocate when talking to external parties
  • Put together pitch decks (writing + design)
  • Manage a small team of creatives
  • Foster and nurture strong collaboration and alignment between key XFN partners
  • Develop unique creative executions rooted on strategy
  • Comfortable driving a creative process in collaboration with another brand’s creative team.
  • Be an advocate for quality and world-class creative in all executions

About you:

  • Proven experience as a creative building brand campaigns, partnerships and carrying out world-class creative work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey creative concepts in a way that inspires partners.
  • Experience managing internal creative teams as well as external resources and agencies
  • Portfolio of previous work, that displays an ability to turn an idea into a cohesive campaign across different channels and mediums.
  • Proven ability to deliver business results through valid metrics.
  • Great eye for exceptional creative and design, and can chip in yourself if resources are tight.
  • Passion for story-telling and connecting to audiences. Adept at putting yourself into our customers' shoes, understanding their needs, and speaking to them with authenticity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on an ego-free, highly energetic, and cross-functional team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

  • Experience working both in-house and at creative agencies.
