Strava is hiring a Director of Product, Growth to lead our Growth Team. Growth’s mission is to help athletes through the Strava journey by connecting them with the value of our product no matter where they are in their personal journey. As our Growth Director, you will be responsible for defining our growth strategy, coordinating and executing growth plans, and optimizing our funnel to meet Strava’s immediate and long-term goals. Working from the top of the funnel to the bottom, you will collect data to track and improve on all steps in the funnel, identifying bottlenecks and increasing automation.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Inspire a high-performance product team to continually develop novel approaches to how we acquire, activate, engage, retain, and win back members while continuing to enhance our product’s reputation.

  • Lead our thinking around how to evolve pricing and tiering that works best for different countries worldwide.

  • Create an environment that fosters high-quality, metrics-driven experimentation, which leads to impactful improvements and positive business impact.

  • Ability to break the long-term vision into concrete, manageable, shippable deliverables that adds value to the athlete’s experience.

You will be successful here by:

  • Driving activation, retention, conversion, and re-engagement improvements throughout the funnel.

  • Building an experimentation program that runs A/B tests that iteratively improves our subscription funnel.

  • Partnering with cross-functional leadership to shape the growth strategy.

  • Advocating the latest tools, best practices and always striving to make processes more efficient and effective.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in growth, growth hacking, or subscription management.

  • You have experience scaling customer acquisition, activation, and retention while maximizing lifetime value.

  • You are a great people manager with experience building, leading, and managing growth teams.

  • You have experience in consumer acquisition tactics and best practices.

  • You have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and dynamic environment.
