About the team:

Robinhood Securities, LLC (RHS) is Robinhood’s clearing broker/dealer, and the RHS Risk Program is responsible for building and maintaining a risk framework, risk tools and dashboards, and the practices needed to address exposures RHS faces. This role will partner with Enterprise Risk Management to develop and mature our risk frameworks and methodologies. You will engage RHS management team to adopt new risk practices and ensure adherence to policy. Additionally, you will collaborate with other risk programs including Compliance, Product, Technology, Finance, and Vendor Management on innovative, risk-mitigating initiatives. This individual will curate materials for risk committees, proposals for addressing risks, and assist in providing oversight to the execution of risk processes. This role is to building out the framework and risk practices that maintain a controlled environment while enabling innovation and growth. 

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Partner with Finance, Enterprise Risk, and Compliance teams to implement the Risk Framework
  • Curate materials to facilitate risk assessments and risk committee meetings
  • Facilitate the aggregation and reporting of risk information that is applied in assessment of risk against risk appetite
  • Assist with identifying and assessing risks in both existing and new products and processes as well as emerging risks
  • Provide objective oversight of control operating and design effectiveness and ensure business partners perform timely risk governance procedures

About you:

  • Comfortable working closely with individuals at all levels within the company
  • Someone who enjoys a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Previous risk management experience in enterprise, operational, technology, credit, liquidity, or financial risk management areas
  • Experience in Brokerage Operations and/or Risk Management; Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or quantitative field 

Bonus points:

  • Strong Robinhood product knowledge
  • Series 7 and Series 24 licenses
